Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know anything about websites?
No. You don't need to know anything about domains, publishing, systems or technical setup. I take care of all of that for you.
Do I have to write the content myself?
No. You send me basic information about your business, what you do, which areas you work in and how customers should contact you. I write and structure the content.
Do I need photos ready?
No. If you have photos from previous jobs, we can use them. If not, the photo section can be left out until you have images you'd like to show.
How long does it take?
Once I have the necessary information about the business, services and contact details, the website can usually be set up quickly. If we're missing content, photos, domain details or other information, it may take longer.
What is included in the monthly fee?
Hosting and technical maintenance. The website stays published and the contact form is set up to send requests to your email. You don't need to manage the technical side yourself.
What if I want to change something later?
You'll get a fixed price for the change before any work is done. This could be new photos, new text, additional sections or other adjustments.
Will I show up on Google?
The website is set up so Google can more easily understand your business, services and the area you work in. A Google Business Profile, directory listings and further visibility work are not included in the standard price but can be arranged as an add-on.
What is not included in the standard price?
Logo design, photography, Google Business Profile, directory listings, review management, major design changes and special features are not included. These can be arranged as add-ons if you need them.
What if I already have a domain?
The standard price includes registering and setting up a new domain. If you already have a domain, I'll look at the easiest way to connect it to the website. Any transfer or extra technical work is agreed before it's done.
Do I own the domain?
Yes. The domain belongs to your business. I can handle the technical setup for you, but the domain can be transferred to you if you later want to end or move the website.
Will I get a new email address?
No, not as standard. The contact form can send requests to the email address you already use, for example Gmail or an existing business email.
Am I locked in for a long time?
No. The monthly fee runs for as long as the website is active. If you want to stop, we'll agree on a practical conclusion and any domain transfer.
Is the example site a real business?
No. The example site uses a fictional company name and sample content, but shows what a finished website can look like.
